Solar Panels in California Are a Big Environmental Disaster
California is the largest solar market in america, with about one point three million roof tops fitted with panels in the past 20 years or so. About 15 % of the state's power comes from the sun but they got there with very expensive subsidies and green energy mandates on utilities. Solar panels require a number of different components and metals, silver, for instance, a silicon. But the nasty ones are toxic heavy metals like lead and silennium and cadmium.
