The Third Phase of Route Is Negotiation
At the beginning you're going to be just kind of budgeting for how do I play. Then eventually it evolves to how can I in a kind of scrappy way do as much as possible for myself while also hurting ex player basically and then that is what route becomes. It's basically like a rock paper scissors where everybody is hitting the next person they can best deal with. The winner of that game is the person who was either able to remain undetected the longest or the person who budgeted for getting punched the correct amount right.
