The Apocalypse Discourse

The trajectory of global capitalism is pretty apocalyptic. There's lots and lots about the current configuration globally that is just absolutely apocalyptic. The apocalypse is happening every day. It's happening as we speak in many parts of the world. But there is something very, very debilitating and it's a tricky discourse. How does one acknowledge these issues and not at the same time feed into cynicism and despair?
