The Ocean Back in the Jurassic
Bryony says the rocks tell a really interesting story about what happened back in the Jurassic. The earth was much warmer there was a very sudden change in temperature at this point and of something like eight degrees Celsius so everything got really warm. To go along with that the conditions and the oceans changed quite drastically. There's actually mining happening today but again for a different material there's a couple of mines locally looking at extracting potash for things like fertilizer just walking across a bed of kelp and thick seaweed here.
