I think it's got something to do with politicians yeah that's my hunch and actually throughout history people have pointed the finger like politicians and Socrates. In order to get attention in order to get people to back you and believe in you you kind of need to act and talk. People want to be reassured by certainty but most politicians have no idea about climate change or epidemiology or the economy or any number of other things that they have really strong opinions about talk about all the time. I would say at some point anger can be spun intolike some sort of virtue or same thing in terms of like removing desires no it's about fulfilling everything that you want and crafting some sort of life
In this episode, I chat with J.W. Bertolotti host of the In Search of Wisdom podcast, and founder of the Perennial Leader Project. Josh was one of the speakers at our Stoicon-x Military event a few years ago. We’re both very active on Substack now, Josh at Perennial Meditations so I thought it would be a great opportunity to reconnect and chat about philosophy as a guide to life.
