How to Depress Anger in Mediation

Daniel Sneezer has argued that anger is essentially a program that tries to get others to recalibrate how much weight they are putting on the angry person's welfare. We can use this recalibration theory of anger to better understand when people are likely to get angry in mediation and what's likely to help them not feel so angry. And then we can ask similar kinds of questions for other emotions, like shame, for example.
