The Importance of Offering Up

There could be something beautiful happening here and I just haven't seen it yet. A prayer that often helps me is to say here. It's a way of offering up the bits and pieces of your experiences that you don't know what to do with. Like all those little disappointments, it's like death by a thousand paper cuts. You offer them up. And this is why having some sense of a higher power source, spirit, God, the ultimate makes for an incredibly heavy burden to carry. But there's actually tremendous help there when you offer these things up.
