Do You Want to Do It Early?
Generally around 37 weeks. You want to do it before mom goes into labor or by water breaks, just because of increasing complications in that setting. And also, if you wait frequently, the baby will be called decend engagement and get lower down into mom's pelvis. As the butt gets lower, it's just harder to move out of theirs. So that's why you would want to do it earlier. But on the flip side, number one, the baby may turn on its own, and so you don't need to do it.
