The Water Motive in Scripture

An ancient person didn't think of wells the same way that we do. They visualized wells as places of God's special blessing on the earth because water rose up from unknown places to give life in the wilderness. And so to her to have a well that she didn't see God brings it to her. She now can see it. There's supernatural elements all over this.
