Why Matthew Is Writing the Gospel for Jewish Christians

Matthew is writing the gospel for Jewish Christians to help them grow in their understanding of how Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah is in fact the son of David and the son of Abraham. Matthew also knows that Jewish non-Christians are going to be looking over the shoulder, peering at what their friends and family members are reading in the gospel of Matthew,. especially chapter one. So why better way to do it than to front load the genealogy with four women of questionable repute who were all Gentiles?
