The Importance of Being Honest With Your Audience

I think that when we're recapturing dialogue but we're not quite sure of what exactly that dialogue was we have to be honest with our audience. I know what she said in terms of the gist of the conversation but I do want to let my audience know that I was seven years old there's no way I remember word for word what was said.
