Sleep deprivation affects mood, it affects waking and hunger. If you go to bed earlier, at the early stages of sleep,you get the most human growth hormone dump into your body. I have never woken my children up from a nap. We're sending some hints to school at seven o'clock in the morning,. These poor teen agers where they need to be sleeping. And i'm telling you, particularly for one of my kids, who was just great at the beginning about putting himself to bed before the rest of the family. Id think a lot of his success had to do with his sleep schedule. Because every single day he was maximizing his learning, maximize his retention.
