In his speech at freud's eightieth birthday celebration, thomas mann made some extraordinarily incitful remarks about myth. Esman: The myth is the legitimization of life. Only through andin it does life find self awareness, sanction, consecration. Schopenhauer was among the first philo ers to incorporate significant elements of south asian philosophy and spirituality. Evoking a sense of radical acceptance and affirmation of the world, which both buddhism and nicha teach us, is a fundamental affirmation of self, of experience and of all existence.
