The Effects of Noise on Heart Rate

I'm very aware that when you get trained athletes for example in the lab they're often not as good as in an old lead but I'm just wondering it makes sense to me that if you did say in the balls every day twice a day you'd break down. There is pretty clear evidence that we can get this parasympathetic hyperactivity and this has also been done in structured studies where they use you know try to induce overreaching. But what we see across the board is when they're in this overreaching state heart rate is reduced at essentially all intensities so so the breaks are on.
