Rollope's Women
Trollope is a classic in the ponderous category, as opposed to the fact that they really are, to me, the beech reeds of the past. The plot unfolds through very natural oetion, and you are moving forward propulsively. And one of the things that is most extraordinary, too, about him is he called himself, i think, a liberal conservative. He was a forward thinking person for his time.
