The Importance of Language in 1890
"I think the way they spoke was like, I think a little bit of an accent," he says. "They definitely have. They definitely hide." It's just when they were in a play or when they were doing a Yankees broadcast that it sounded different than what you would hear on TV today. He also thinks people in 1890 believed that 1890 was the most futuristic modern time ever.
