My Family Thinks I'm Crazy

CHAPTER

Folklore

In the colonial days of New England, there was a similar amount of insecurity around health because they were in this new land that was all fearsome and wild to them. When you have people in a foreign land, they bring with them the culture of their home and impose it on this new world. And we see that with the vampire. The imposition doesn't always work out that wellBecause when you're in a new environment, both physically cultural, social, what you brought may not actually work that well. So obviously people are very adaptable and the culture is adaptable just like us being really quite or so you know, you adapt to your situation or environment.
