The Bonus Special Episode on Polar Sounds

Weddle seals live close to the Antarctic ice-self edge and have a large vocal repertoire. Some of those sounds are thought to be produced by males to defend underwater territories. There's lots more of this on the bonus episode, including some extraordinary noises made by boats as they scan seabed for oil reserves. And part of the project is having musicians use these underwater noises to make their own compositions - you'll hear one of those two on the bonus show.
