The Importance of Listening

The legal academy has a running joke that when people give a paper presentation, you'll have some dude in the audience who says he didn't read your paper. And I really wanted to do was not to be like that. One of the big commitments I made with the podcast was like every interview I do, I read the whole paper or the whole book before I do the podcast. The questions aren't as important as listening to what the other person has to say and trying to understand what they think is important.
