The Rise of Liberalism in Europe

After the Peace Conference, late after 1815, liberalism is a crusading movement. Karl Marx tries to maintain that its communism in 1848, but outside of Paris, that's simply not true. It's liberalism that is frightening the ruling powers. And the liberal program allowing for some national modifications is essentially a universal program. The same basic set of demands in Western Europe and Central Europe in North America.
