The Resilience of a Community After a Crisis

In Japan, 150,000 people who lived near the reactor had to evacuate because of radioactive contamination. The wealthier members of the community have a lot more mobility, right than the poorest ones. What did help these communities was not wealth, but rather having neighbors that went through the evacuation with them and they stayed in touch with. In New Orleans, one of the poorest neighborhoods with the least amount of education is called Deleste deleste.
