When You Have Power, You Got to Use It, Right?
Democrats spent months trying to convince a few republicans, whose whole legislative platform had been resoundingly rejected at the poles, to get on board with their health care plan. The result was a weaker bill with benefits that were delayed. We didn't get a single republican vote for it. So the lesson i took from that was, when you have power,. You got to use it to do things to make people's lives better. Right? If i can build on this cause i think the court in the thirties is kind of instructive here.
