By the time our first colony ship arrives around other solar systems humanity will already include a lot of cyborg or transhuman clades. So too we might engineer humans to live on a planet without changing it by changing them what we call bioforming. Given that we would also need to do that to all the critters and plants we brought along my guess is that we would tend to do terraforming more than bioforming. There would be those aiming to adapt the world while others focus more on adapting to the world which might lead to some interesting and not always peaceful conflicts as a planet was settled. In the end it is hard to say for sure how other solar systems in the planets will
