I Don't Want to Lose You. You've Ended That Life Line
The phone didn't actually disconnect. It just kind of went back on the cradle, but didn't actually disconnected. The operator said that she immediately thought something wasn't right about the call. She heard not only john and patricia speaking muffled right aftera she put down that phone. And then she heard a third voice that was a little more faint. They claim later that burke, who was the only other person in the house the nine year olds, was asleep during this call. He was not near them or awake at this time.
