I feel like there's a real palpable fear that there's just so many people out of work right now chasing so few jobs. I definitely think that after so many applications you sort of feel despair, applying should be like your job is what I hear sometimes which sounds really stressful honestly. Yes. If you didn't have to worry about applying to like a million jobs right now and making this happen come hell or high water. And you just had two weeks to yourself. You would do it at a relaxed sort of like sustainable pace instead of this panic pace we tend to associate with it.
On a recent workday, Pauline woke up and logged into her computer from home … only to find an email saying she was being laid off — effective immediately.
