Being Christian Is a Corrupted Way of Thinking

The way that i conceive of being christian is just different than what i inherited. Because evangelism was an assumed priority, you had to sort of not be christian when the stakes were high. In order to make other people christian, we had to behave as not christian. We had to ditch it at some point. And that seemed to me to be a corrupted way of thinking. It's one thing to sort of see that in the abstract, but because of what we conceive of as being christian, and the way that we conceive of sort of the really important matters. That has certainly transformed my parenting.
