The President Wanted to Put Money Out There

I don't think the white house anticipated that the impact of what they had done with the feta done and the supply chain would be as great as it is. The president wanted to put money out there. He knew that was popular. People are happy to get checks. States are happy to see the money. What they didn't recognize is it would create what larry somers predicted, which is it would fuel and ation and the political impact of inflation. I think it's going to bite em hard come this november.
