i think there's such a temptation now to read, to read the author into the work. And some of that we've done to ourselves by being so available. I'm not thinking about like, is this real? Yes. But at the same time, i did start to feel really kind of stuck and constricted in that,. In not knowing how to navigate the the fact that i was always going to be a character in the story.
