For startups specifically, and I feel like a lot of technical founders will be listening to this, it's more nuanced than that. There's lifetime value of a customer that you can't really understand until you sell them in a lot of cases. Like early on, just get some reps even if there's low value deals, it's worth it because you'll learn the sales emotion. It sounds like if you're past that stage, then it kind of comes down to maybe like two things: Will you learn from this customer specifically something interesting?
