China is trying to change its status within the american empire at a moment when it doesn't. It's not that the u.s hegemony is being challenged what's being challenged is American absolute power. If russia and china get together they will have a bit more autonomy so russia's kind of a lynch pin and they're looking to weaken it. The only way we'll see radical change in global capitalism yet is when there's actually people fighting below for a different kind of system, says Poutin.
