Mungo, a Very Ordinary Boy

Mungo is a working class boy growing up in the east end of glasgow. His father was, ah, you know, died in a tragedy when mungo was still a baby. And so he's forced to sort of keep it very bottled up inside. He has this habit of calming himself down by putting things in his mouth. So he'll suck on scabs, he'll stuff clothes in his mouth and bite window sill. A part of that actually was inspired by my own story as a young man. I was a very anxious kid.
