Goat Grass - A Great Trait in Wheat

Neolithic farmers would have been interacting with these wild grasses. Over millennia, they observed around them other rare crosses. Crosses which would eventually transform wild grasses into the wheat we have today. To create future food, NIAB are recreating those rare crosses using goat grasses still found in the fertile crescent and inside gene banks.
