i have seen and heard of places where, by kind of throwing out the rule book and adding too much flexibility around the processes, head has turned into a bit of a mess. Feel strongly that you should have the flexibility to break the rules sometimes as long as you get discussed with the team. Manageement is one of those things where it's so soft and nebulous. This is something that requires a lot of sort of ec busy to know what works well in the given environment.
