The Neurology of Intraparenchymal Hemorrhage
The most common causes of intraparenchymal hemorrhage are non-traumatic and there was no trauma here that we were aware of. Coagulopathy, aneurysms, potential for an underlying mass into which he hemorrhage. The patient's age reminded me of the possibility of cocaine induced vasospasm. And I think it's female predominant, but the idea of having an intrapimal hemorrhage from vascular angiography is very interesting.
