The Rosenhahn Experiment
Dr. David Rosenhahn was concerned about people being falsely diagnosed as mentally ill, committed to psychiatric hospitals and then kept there even though they were perfectly sane. The term we use to describe the experience is dehumanized. Nobody talks to you. Nobody has any contact with you. And that's where David Rosenhinn comes into our story. What happened with him?
