The Power of Humility
When a speaker is humble bragging and promoting, it's coming from a place of insecurity that they would like credibility versus where real strength comes. When you admit to being flawed or being honest or telling them that you had an obstacle overcome, they trust you more and they're more interested in the story because it is very much we can all relate to humiliation. We can all relating to fear. There's not one person I've talked to who doesn't talk about some kind of imposter syndrome,. Even after their third album or their fifth screenplay or winning the Oscar, they wonder, can they do it again?
