The only thing in the early stages that gives the vision life, when people can't feel it or touch it or see it, is you speaking it and continuing to speak it into existence. And my friend andy stanley says that vision leaks. I imagine people walking around with buckets, and you pour the vision into it, but the buckets got a hole in it, and it leaks. So like during the great recession, when i was the c o thomas nelson, it was a very difficult time,. not unlike the time wer recording this in the middle of covet.

Anticipate the objections you’re likely to receive and be ready for them.
Once you’ve got buy-in on a vision, stop. Don’t oversell it.
When you’re starting to get tired of hearing yourself talk about the vision, that’s an indicator that you’re on the right track.
