How to Justify an Advisor's Fee for Managing a Portfolio
A lot of advisors and a lot of guys I think are struggling because not only where we are in the cycle, but also how do they try and justify an advisory fee for just managing a portfolio. We often say advisors are worth their weight in gold if they do something. And that's the problem is that you can get a sort of a call center CFP at Schwab and what is it? It's 20 bucks a month now. The all in costs for many of these, 1.5%, 2%. That's a huge drag on performance.
