Is There a Moral Truth in the World?

I think that's a terribly difficult question to ask. From a research perspective, I would say that it seems to me that morality is a nigh of the perceiver. That said, there appear to be culturally universal things that people do moralize such as killing people. Even if there might be instrumental ends to support war, for example, there might be very strong moralized reasons to support or oppose a war. It's more of a discovery rather than an assertion of a theory without really collecting a lot data yet.
