There is nothing in this passage that references the woman being pregnant at all or a miscarriage or spontaneous abortion happening in the first place. So on either point, even if it is talking about miscarriage, just because God can take human life as a punishment for sin does not follow, we have the right to take human life. It's vague. If Ellie will swell, your thigh will rot. She develops some kind of a sickness that prevents her from becoming pregnant in the future. That makes more sense of the passage. And then if she's... so the idea then, just to wrap this all the way up, is if she's innocent, none of this stuff is supposed to happen to her
