The Experience of the Self Is the Destroy of the Ego
The experience of the self is the defeat of the ego. So that's what it's all about. This is a more recent painting called Mater Harmonia. The bear is an Indian sloth bear, which actually came to me through a dream. I was listening to Dune at the time and this was a sort of spontaneous painting that came out. And then Anita and I were talking over, even a poor thing. She's a need to over here. It's freezing. Oh, man, I can't wait to go back.
