Responsibility and Accountability in AI

The responsibility to build a system that doesn't reproduce or exacerbate existing social harms isn't just with the developers. It's also with the other stakeholders that are responsible for making sure the technology is not being used by law enforcement. So creating responsible AI, I think, also means accounting for the distribution of knowledge and responsibility in any given system. And this raises interesting questions of who is responsible or accountable when people suffer on Julie because of AI.
