The Importance of Intelligence

Intelligence is not one thing and it's certainly not defined by any single area in the brain. It may be that what we call intelligence is about how many things you can hold in your short term memory at one time. Other species seem to come out more hardwired to solve particular problems but we are more live wired which means our brains adapt.
