Dark Matter - Is There Another Force?

The argument for that existing is mostly, boy, i hope it exists. That would make it possible to discover dark matter. There are some other hand wavy arguments to suggest that maybe it's reasonable. But mostly it's the first one, is just out of desperation. It's the only way we would be able to see it. So let's hope it's true exactly. Let's start there. And you know, if we don't find it, then we need to re examine these assumptions and go back and think, well, what if there's another way? Let's be more clever about it.
