Socrates' Argument for the Protection of the People From All Harmful Art
Socrates argues that interference by the three classes with each other's jobs, therefore, does the greatest harm to our state. And so key to the argument then sort of throughout the entire republic is the education of those who are to enter the ruling class. As mentioned before, that education involves what is often called the censorship of art and poetry. But if we've been following along, it's very, we can sort of predict what kind of art he would allow.
