The Early Mesolithic Foragers in Brittany
Some archaeologists have argued that they were really old, going back to just after the end of the LBK. The Mecosburg people and their other middle-neolithic contemporaries had made some significant changes in their subsistence strategies. They headed west into Britain and Ireland and north into Scandinavia and the Baltic. Some of the most famous of them all, places like Newgrange and the Boyne Valley of Ireland and Stonehenge in England were soon to follow.
