Hypothyroidism and the Liver
A 50-year-old female had her thyroid removed 15 years ago due to small cancerous nodules. In the past three years, she's experienced some large fluctuations of thyroid levels moving from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid. The most common cause of cancer for the thyroid are pesticides that mimic estrogen. Also glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in Roundup mimics estrogen, damages the thyroid and also can damage the liver.
