Cancer is driven by genetic and epigenetic changes. When you lose tumor suppressor genes, they make cells prone to getting developing tumors. We want to exploit these vulnerabilities to be able to specifically kill cells that have lost both copies of the broccoli gene but not those that have it. This model can be now extended to a number of different disease processes.

We are very excited to be joined today by one of the world’s leaders in scientific and biological research, Dr. Jonathan Weissman.
