Wiccanam: A Low Island in the Escalco River
Dr. Troy Thomas is a math professor at the University of Guyana. He grew up on an island called Wiccanam, it's an island in the Escalco River. An important feature you will notice on the island is there is what we call the seawall or a sea dam. That's necessary for keeping the ocean out.
