Time perception is a blend of distribution systems that involves the cerebral cortex, the cerebellum, and the basal ganglia. When we're physically tired, our brains can't transfer and process information as quickly. Our reaction time slows and this also makes us feel as this time is speeding up. In reality, it's just us slowing down in relation to the rest of the world.
